BV Werther (Ballspiel Verein Werther 1920 e.V.) is a German football club from Werther, officially founded on 27 May 1920, shortly after the First World War. The club originated from the initiative of a small group of passionate football enthusiasts who laid the foundation in October 1919 for what would grow into a well-established name in the region.
