FSV Gevelsberg

FSV Gevelsberg e.V. is a forward-looking football club from Gevelsberg, Germany, deeply rooted in a tradition dating back to 1908 with the founding of the city’s first football club. Over the years, football in Gevelsberg has evolved with the times, with teams competing at district, state, and even top-level regional leagues.

In 2004, the football departments of VfL Gevelsberg and Sportfreunde Eintracht Gevelsberg (SEG) decided to merge. This strategic collaboration led to the formation of FSV Gevelsberg, supported by the FLVW, State Sports Association, and Bochum-based consultants. The new club aimed to establish a sustainable football project with a strong focus on youth development.

With modern facilities such as the Stefansbachtal stadium, featuring both natural and artificial turf pitches, FSV Gevelsberg provides an excellent environment for young talents. The club remains committed to fostering community spirit, inclusion, and long-term football development in the region.
