SV 1879 Ehrenhain e.V. is one of Germany’s oldest sports clubs, founded in 1879 in Ehrenhain, now part of the town of Nobitz in the state of Thuringia. Originally named Deutscher Turnverein Ehrenhain, the club focused on gymnastics, athletics, bowling, walking, and artistic cycling.
