
TuS Makkabi Frankfurt 1965 e.V. is a major Jewish sports club based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, with more than 5,000 members, and a proud member of Makkabi Germany. Founded in 1965, the club’s mission is to unite the community through sport while promoting diversity, inclusion, and tolerance.
Today, Makkabi Frankfurt operates 27 sports departments, with football as its largest and strongest division. The club colors are blue and white, featuring the Star of David and the Hebrew word Makkabi. In addition to its Makkabi Tennis & Squash Park in Bockenheim, the club is building a modern sports center in Dornbusch, expected to open in 2026.
Recognized for its strong social commitment to integration and anti-discrimination, the club has received numerous awards, including the Frankfurt Diversity and Integration Award (2018) and Sterne des Sports in Bronze (2022–2024). With the philosophy “Sport knows no boundaries,” Makkabi Frankfurt continues to run sports projects for children, youth, and refugees, fostering a respectful and connected community.
